SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT!

Here we go! One last time to swing the bats before we get out the, uh, well...okay we'll say it... PIGSKINS!

The Hog Days Co-ed softball tournament promises to be fun for everyone. Scheduled for Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Northeast Park with the first game at 8 AM, 12 teams will battle it out for bragging rights to last until next year's tourney!

This is a double elimination tournament. You must be 18 or older to play and teams must have 4 female players on the field at all times. Check below for more rules.

The deadline for entries is Monday, August 25, 2008. Okay then, PLAY BALL!

Additional Rules For 2008 Hog Fest Co-ed Softball Tournament
	$100 entry fee per team, due before you play your first game. 6' minimum and 12' maximum pitch.

	Plate and mat are strike. NO courtesy strike! If the ball hits the road on the fly, it's a home run. If it ROLLS into the road - a double.

	6 inning games, 15 run rule after 3 and 10 after 4 to speed things up. Teams may bat 12...extra 1 guy and/or girl.

	Hit your own balls (44 core gold dot). ASA bat rules! Winning team provides umpires.
