Nelson Enterprises Helicopter Rides!

Green space immediately west of the Station House Restaurant on West Third Street, downtown Kewanee 10 AM-until dusk. ONE DAY ONLY! $35 per ride.  Bring your camera and get a bird's-eye view of your house, your neighborhood, Hog Days...EVERYTHING! Nelson Enterprises will also be providing rides at the 44th Annual Homestead Festival in Princeton, IL the weekend following Hog Fest, September 11-13.
Kewanee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Open House! 610 Park Avenue (across the street from West Park to the north) 1 PM-4 PM This was the very first house ever built in Kewanee still standing and restored to mint condition. Come see what the neighbors were up to in  1854! A small donation at the end of your tour would be nice but not required.
The Hog Days Parade! Begins at East & 2nd Streets, moves west on 2nd Street to Main Street, south on Main Street to Central Boulevard and west on Central Boulevard to Grove Street where the parade ends. 2 PM Bring your lawn chairs for seating anywhere along the parade route.
