Place winning teams in the 2009 Hog Days Softball Tournament...RMC
Metals and Backyard. The 2009 tourney saw 14 teams enter the competition, a new record for this 3 year old event. Entry fee money turned into the prize money and was divided among the top three finishing teams. Enough teams signed up that both the Windmont Park as well as Northeast Park ball diamonds were pressed into service. The event was also a fund raiser for the Royal Oaks Care Home Activity Department. They garnered all the proceeds from the concession stand! The weather was perfect and it took about 12 hours worth of ball games (beginning at 8 AM and ending around 8 PM) to determine the winners!
