The Hog Days Stampede
is held
first thing Saturday morning of Hog Days weekend beginning at 8 a.m. Entrants cover the
gamut from professional runners to non professional walkers, those
in wheelchairs or with crutches and everyone in between.
Whatever your
pace, it's all encouraged and urged on,
celebrating 47 consecutive years of healthy in 2023. Presented by
Breedlove's Sporting Goods, The Community State Bank and The Chamber of
Commerce, all of Kewanee, everyone is welcome
to enter. This is a competitive racing event for
those who want that and prizes and trophies go to the winners.
But for those not into hard core racing, and there are hundreds of
entrants in that category each year, get yourself out there and just do it! We promise that you will be cheered across the finish
line and "hi-fived" no matter where you place or what your time.
Guaranteed!
