West Park has been
around for almost a hundred years and is just, well, QUAINT! The
trees are tall and stately. There's a flower garden.
Playground for the kids. And over Hog Fest weekend, at least a
hundred or more "stores" in the park at which to shop!
We're
talking the annual flea market and craft show. Vendors from
across the Midwest set up their wares here...hand-carved
knick-knacks, antique toys and collectibles...trendy jewelry...the
latest fashion statement in clothing...holiday craft items; and all
at very affordable prices!
Because of the number of people visiting this three day affair, we set up our huge grills,
cook and sell those famous pork chops
and porkburgers right here in West Park just like we do uptown.
And if you're not up for a pork chop sandwich (and we just CAN'T
imagine that!) there are plenty of private food vendors in the park
for corn dogs, cotton candy and all the usual festival food
favorites!

weekend, please click

If you're a shopper, start saving up those extra dollars
now...because a whole lot of unique birthday, Christmas,
Anniversary, Hannukah...well, you get the idea...gifts can be found
at the annual flea market and craft show over Hog Days in Kewanee!
