We call it the Hog Days Stampede and it is presented by
Breedlove's Sporting Goods, The Community State Bank and the Star
Courier, all of Kewanee. Everyone is welcome
and encouraged to enter. This is a competitive racing event for
those who want that and top prizes and trophies go to the winners.
But for those not into hard core racing, enter anyway and jog...or power
walk...or stroll! We have participants wheel chair bound who take
part. Or on crutches. Just get yourself out there and do something good for
yourself! We promise that you will be cheered across the finish
line and "hi-fived" no matter where you place or what your time.
