Meet the 2010
Board of Hog Capital Barbecue, Inc., who along with many wonderful
volunteers, put this Hog Fest thing together. Pictured above,

the back row from the left are: Secretary Larry Flannery; Vice
chairperson Janie Metscaviz; Treasurer Niles Reamer; Vice
chairperson Anne Murchison; and Vice chairperson Mary Ashpole. Committee members include: Kevin Burnett, Rick Dennison, Richard Dykes, Kyle Engstrom, Joe Feeney, Jeff Finney, Ron and Annette Finney, Mary Jo Folger, Ken Gutschlag, Terry Huff, Arlene McNaught, Kathy Miller, Corrinne Murchison, Kevin, Ruth and Teresa Neuleib, Howard O'Neil, Keith Resch, Bill and Ruth Anne Scott, Marcie Spiker, Ted VanWassenhove, Kelli Wallace, Kris Wexell, Terry, Marge and Wally Wickey. And then there are all the individuals who just show up each and every Hog Fest weekend, not wanting any credit, who start in cleaning, grilling, selling tickets or doing all the things that make our community shine throughout Labor Day weekend. You are the true "stars" of this production we call Hog Days! Thank you! |

| The official name of our organization is Hog Capital Barbecue, Inc. We are chartered by the State of Illinois as a non-profit organization in Kewanee, Illinois. Our purpose is to organize, promote, fund and manage an annual celebration to recognize the hog producing enterprises of the area as well as promote Kewanee, Henry County and the State of Illinois. This we have done for 56 consecutive years, with 2010 our 57th! We have an executive board, a full membership committee and associate member committee. Everyone serves as a volunteer without compensation. Membership is open to anyone in our area based on our by-laws with elections for board members held annually in November. | ||
